Role purpose:
The Distribution Center Manager is responsible for all areas under the Chemical Distribution Center, i.e. CDC operations and local delivery to customers, in accordance with the corporate, departmental strategy as well as to ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of all orders. The tasks including all concern Policies of the company is to be implemented. To organize EQ-E (Health Safety and Environment) through corporate Policies and ISO 14001 and OHSAS standards at the CDC.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the effectiveness of local delivery management through flexibilities, and ensure CDC operations are aligned with the distribution strategies to optimize cost of distribution through Leans and Innovation.
Reliable physical stock to guarantee optimal processing and to provide accurate information.
Supervise and develop the team's performance by leading and motivating them to maximize services and develop mindset that ensure the alignment with the corporate & department goals and KPIs
Coordinate with the internal and external functions to smoothen the processes and share information.
Incorporate company policies regarding EHS with operational excellence to reduce environmental risks and health hazards
Support the projects and assigned tasks to work prioritization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Logistics or other related fields.
At least 10 years of experience in chemical industry, warehousing, distribution, logistics or other related fields and 5 years in managerial level.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
numeracy and an understanding of finance for stock management.
People management skills, including the ability to inspire, lead and motivate a team of people, delegate work and explain ideas.
Teamworking skills.
Thai Nationality.
