An exciting Demand Planning Manager job has just become available at one of the most unique consumer goods firms based in Bangkok. This is a great opportunity for the Demand Planning Manager to ensure on-time in-full supply of product is redevelop and delivered.
Responsibilities:
Lead monthly demand planning meetings with demand forecast with sales and marketing teams.
Monitor sales vs forecast and work with supply colleague to alert and potential risk.
Conduct analysis sales data incorporating relevant information to develop forecast numbers.
Contribute to refine processes in order to improve overall supply chain performance (optimize inventory level and minimize slow moving items).
Inventory Control - Analyze marketing and sales plans and liaise with shipping to ensure volume and timeliness of receipts maximize order fill rates.
Production Planning - Monitor production issues such as capacity, minimum order quantities (MOQs) or lead times that conflict with plans and communicate to marketing and sale.
Inventory Control - Monitor excess and obsolete inventory in order to keep it at minimum levels and provide weekly report to sales and management in order to plan for clearance by quarter.
To succeed in the Demand Planning Manager role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with internal stakeholders and with regional exposure
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years working experience in Demand Planning / Production Planning/ knowledge of Supply Chain preferred
Good analysis skills and statistic proficiency, knowledge of SAP/APO or Oracle planning tools is preferred.
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or any other equivalent qualifications.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping calm under pressure.
