Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing Trade Marketing strategy of Company’s Brands to achieve defined business objectives (KPIs) with Marketing and Sales -Team and responsible for ensuring a proper development, execution and benchmarking of all programs designed to increase brand visibility and product sales in-store.
Develop trade marketing and promotional strategic plan for each key account and trade channel, by ensuring alignment with brand strategy and potential of the accounts / channels.
Take ownership of providing trade marketing materials such as point of sales material (POSM), promotion display, product sampling, shelf implementation, advertising material. Ensure execution completely at store level.
Responsible for trade marketing budget planning. Monitor trade activities by maximizing ROI to meet financial targets and growth objectives.
Ensure effective communication and liaison with sales & marketing team to carry out completed execution of marketing messages such as new product launch, promotion program, and in-store merchandising to target customers.
Create brand events, PR events, trade show, or production exhibition in store or outside the store to support marketing strategy and sales potential.
Provide brand material communication, brochures, or product knowledge for pharmacists in any conferences or symposiums.
Understand shopper insight and market situation by analyzing sales promotion, competitors’ activity, category movement, sales-out data, etc. Regularly visit customers in each channel.
Present and provide reports on account & channel progress, goals and quarterly initiatives to team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training.
Develop beauty assistants (BA), or promoter cheer girls (PC), or merchandisers to ensure stock availability at store level, increase sales out performance, and educate product knowledge to customers.
Design and monitor a competitive activity feedback report to track frequency and types of promotions taking place in the various trade channels, documenting such activities for analysis, reporting and future referencing purposes.
Coordinate with sales and supply chain team for forecasting and tracking client account metrics.
Consolidate internal price control program, implement, and administer pricing alignment.
Develop category management to build up category in each channel.
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing.
8+ years’ experience in trade marketing management or related experience from FMCG or Consumer Health care, skincare/personal care category is an advantage.
Strong knowledge in Modern Trade Channel and have proven track record in developing and implementing effective promotion strategy
Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to analyze sales out data such as AC Nielsen, egg digital, C-scan.
Ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams simultaneously
