This position is reporting to Head of Modern Trade. The individual will be responsible for the day to day running of the airlines. The incumbent is responsible for achieving sales target, merchandising objectives and promotion objectives through proper key account management.
Identify key opportunities with key customers on how to develop and grow market share/volume with the key retail customers.
Development of a strong customer relationship, ensures customer satisfaction, and performs store visits.
Training of distributor staff and agency personnel.
Work closely with the Customer Marketing team, finance and operations teams to ensure key brand strategies are met.
Regular meetings with supply chain will be required, to forecast customer volumes in line with company expectations.
Ensure adequate supply of stock at outlets and the proper display of merchandise in line with brand guidelines and quality standards.
Regular analysis of sales data and reports with recommendations.
Track major competitor activity and report potential impact on key Pernod Ricard brands.
Report and complete monthly analysis in line with business requirements, includes posting activity on internal group web site.
At least 5 years relevant experience, prefer experience and familiarity with travel retail business and wine & spirits industry, FMCG and luxury brands.
Formal sales qualifications/experience an advantage.
Knowledge in supply planning and inventory management an advantage.
Evidence of success in negotiations or management with key international customers.
Motivated, proactive and team player with good working attitudes. High-energy with exceptional organizational and time management skills
