IT Project Manager

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Only point of contact for assigned projects

  • Identify the main business requirements and associate integration requirements

  • Describe and validate the customer’s scope of requirements: Merchant integration, Server integration areas, etc.

  • Prepare the project Kick-off internally and externally with the customer / partners

  • Prepare the requirements scope (project plan, Business requirements, Requirements Traceability matrix)

  • Prepare and communicate internally and externally the delivery schedule

  • Coordinate dependencies and inform customers about them

  • Coordinate all project stages: design, developments, integration, validation, delivery, acceptance (weekly meetings and project files updates)

  • Provide customer and management weekly reporting and monitoring

  • Inform customers about dependencies not respected and effects on the delivery and time spent

  • Manage regularly risk assessment and quality management

  • Manage escalation process effectively when required

  • Support SIT & UAT stages

  • Ensure successful project closure (handover document)

  • Ensure on-going budget control and lead corrective actions

  • Ensure providing a high-quality level of support to all stakeholders, while respecting the project scope, the allocated budget and the forecasted planning initially made to achieve customer satisfaction

  • Get involved in the company’s pre-sale project support, proposal preparation and presentation, customer visits and help the company to pitch the client successfully.

  • Other missions given by the company

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer technology, engineering of information technology or equivalent At least 3 years of relevant experience in delivering solution in retail, loyalty and/or mobile marketing solutions

  • At least 4 years software development experience

  • Experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Deep understanding or experience in banking/payment systems (POS, card, mobile, wallet, etc.) desirable

  • Experience in waterfall and agile methodologies

  • Experience managing software development projects

  • Experience of working across multiple delivery organizations practicing distributed development in a global environment

  • Experience of leading multi-disciplined development teams, including managing external vendors and agencies providing services for projects

  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools

  • Have sound knowledge on C#, J2EE, .NET platform and SQL server database

  • Good knowledge of security standards (encryption, authentication)

  • Domain knowledge of banking/payment systems desirable

  • Strong familiarity with program and project management financials, inclusive of estimation, costing, tracking estimates versus actuals

  • Excellent written and spoken English; any other Asian languages is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills (listening / probing, writing, speaking)

  • Ability to handle customer expectations, communication and withstand demanding situations
