Senior Pricing Manager

Ensure Pricing Performance:

  • Define the overall pricing strategy for the area he/she is responsible for.

  • Independently develop new Excel models, charts and graphs, and procedures as necessary.

  • Analyze market dynamics, pricing trends, market opportunities, operating and sales margins in order to develop reports, procedures and tools for pricing and quoting.

  • Analyze Entity’s perimeter detailed monthly figures (down to country level per activity) to detect drifts in pricing performance in relation with Price targets.

  • Set and lead Entity’s action plans to drive price performance according to targets, prepare analysis reports for Entity Management and Global Pricing.

  • Feed back country inputs into Global Pricing follow up files for price repositioning history and forecast adjustments.

  • Coordinate pricing initiatives, strategies and action plans among different functions, Lines of Business offer marketing, category/channel management, finance as well as Sales in Operations.

  • Drive efforts to implement price management discipline, targets and process from Lines of Business to Country Marketing through close coordination with Category / Channel Managers and Operations, and for Country, including special price agreements.

  • Actively participate in Global Pricing programs, continuous Pricing process improvement and periodic transverse pricing coordination meetings between BU and Operations

Ensure Pricing Competencies:

  • Senior Pricing Manager is the pricing expert in Pricing analytics, techniques and methodologies.

  • Support Entity Initiative in Pricing tool developments in terms of methodology and consistency.

  • Develop and maintain a high level of price management competency for all necessary roles within the division, country or region by:

○  Periodically training the appropriate functions (sales, marketing, finance,       

    price management) techniques, tools, approaches, strategies.

○  Regularly coaching marketers on pricing practices and process.

  • Ensure the right level of Pricing structure in projects, assess Pricing work quality of stage gate deliverables.

  • Ensure that the pricing competency is at the necessary level for the appropriate functions in the entity.

  • In country, might be involved in approval of additional discounts, special prices, yearly contracts, related to the offer(s), customer(s), area(s), entity(ies), he/she is in charge of.

  • Potentially manages a team of Price specialists and executives and he/she might manage the team that negotiates discounts internally and/or a bid-desk.

Ensure Pricing Communication:

  • Responsible for the overall communication plan within the area.

  • Lead the definition and the implementation of our price positioning strategy and procedures.

  • Prepare Price communication towards Operations/Channel/Category management based on Price performance, strategy and cost variations.

  • Ensure best practices are understood and implemented across the area.

Qualifications:

  • Thai nationality

  • Degrees in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or related field.

  • ‘can do’ attitude

  • Minimum 5 years experience in pricing

  • Strong in presentation and communication skills

  • Good command of English
