This position is reporting to Retail Operations Manager. This position assists in the creation of and delivery of training materials / programs for all levels of the field organization. The incumbent is responsible for identifying developmental needs, determining learning and performance gaps, and recommending appropriate learning or performance solutions. In addition, this position will provide skilled and professional support for retail training programs for field employees, and act as a liaison and project manager between the field organization and home office.
Responsibilities:
Develop, train and coach new Store Managers and newly promoted Store Managers
Develop, train and coach new District Managers and newly promoted District Managers
Consult with Global Training Team and subject matter experts to build and revise course material
Manage the company’s Learning Lab E-Learning platform
Determines, recommends, and leverages best practices and trends
Assist in development and manage roll out strategy for new and re-launching programs
Assist in maintaining project calendars and budgets for training programs
Assist in development of key deliverables on outsourced projects, including: prototypes, course materials including documentation and job aids, leaders’ guides, class plans, computer-based training testing (alpha/beta, user acceptance, pilot, etc.)
Measure impact of learning solutions; help distribute reports for home office and field employees; tracks metrics. Act as liaison to field management
Monitor SharePoint Training site for the field
Assist Training & Development Department plan travel for meetings with field employees
Independently manage calendars and handle meeting logistics
Lead and complete ad-hoc projects as assigned and support training activities as needed
Number of staff/stores trained (Skills and Product Training)
Conversion/UPT and 80% E-Learning Participation Target
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Training and Development, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, Business or any other relevant field; or with equivalent working experience.
More than 7 years of working experience with at least 2 years’ experience in developing customized training programs within a large-structured and complex business environment.
Proven ability to pinpoint, analyze, assess training needs within the business, translating those needs into actionable training initiatives.
Experienced in an E-Learning training environment.
Strong communication skills (both written and spoken) with the ability to present information and instructions in a clear and concise manner.
Strong presentation skills and ability to prepare training materials and draw reports on the performance and progress of training programs and initiatives
Ability to work both independently and in a group setting and highly capable of making deep and meaningful connections with others.
Highly proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
