Head of PMO & Strategic Initiatives – Commercial SEA (Chemical)

Responsibilities:

  • Design develop and support implementation of strategic initiatives to transform SEA region from business, cultural and people to increase performance, efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Develop and implement sustainable best practices across Commercial SEA to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

  • Provide guidance and feedback to help operational teams identify areas of improvement and cost management deficiencies in order to create efficient Commercial techniques and tools/systems.

  • Promotes and encourages cross functional communication within Commercial teams and supports creation of tools to develop engagement.

  • Uses advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems or problems that do not have routine solutions and takes a new perspective.

  • Assume responsibility for driving, assuring, reporting and tracking the successful delivery of projects across the Commercial organisation. Identify potential profiles for leading projects and assess the quality of project managers performance and provide feedback to Heads

  • Provide guidance and feedback to help operational teams identify areas of improvement and cost management deficiencies in order to create efficient Commercial techniques and tools/systems.

  • Develop and coordinate training programs to support the deployment of operational processes.

  • Has in-depth business knowledge and uses understanding of how relevant areas integrate to achieve objectives.

  • Works effectively in a mixed environment and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services and to define processes and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA

  • Demonstrates excellent leadership qualities, detail oriented with strong documentation, analytical and communication skills

  • Have strong communication skills and leadership ability will help you succeed, as will an ability to identify and solve problems.

  • Comfortable using word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation programs.

  • Impeccable time-management skills are necessary, along with the ability to set goals and help others reach them.

  • Be able to work well with others, manage projects and multitask Operational expertise in project management applications, including MS Project and MS Visio, and Minitab Statistical Software

  • Proven ability to mentor, coach, lead, motivate and communicate to all levels of the organization

  • Drives results and change in a highly visible environment

  • Ability to work with sensitive company information in a professional and confidential manner

  • Thai Nationality only.
