Commercial Lead – Retail Measurement

Our client is one of the world’s leading in consumer behavior and has been the largest consumer panel in Thailand.  The Commercial Lead has an appreciation of the company solutions, as well as a good understanding of the value those solutions bring to our clients. He/she is responsible for listening to, discovering and understanding client needs to identify sales opportunities by leveraging the company’s unique value proposition. He/she is expected to proactively build valuable client relationships and grow the business.



  • Building and maintaining strong engagement with key stakeholders in client organization.

  • Owning and driving elements of business planning for a portfolio of clients.

  • Displaying consultative sales behaviors, proactively identifying sales leads and actively listening to client needs. Ensuring that leads and opportunities are converted to sales.

  • Collaborating with Nielsen experts to develop solutions that solve client business needs.

  • Responsible for overall revenue targets including renewal and fulfillment of locally contracted revenue

  • Identifying revenue growth opportunities and coordinate business development effort, at the local level

  • Demonstrating Nielsen solution functionalities and industry trends to clients.

  • Preparing simple and compelling proposals and pitches, and converting opportunities into sales.


  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in consultative selling with knowledge in market research or data driven solution

  • Experiences with FMCG, Consumer Packaged Goods, Automotive, Consulting, Retail Industry

  • Degree in Business Administration or related field

  • Strategic sales and business development competency. Strong logic, problem solving and critical thinking skills.  Has “Hunter” mentality

  • Able to maintain positive client relationships in complex situations and work collaboratively with internal and external team

  • Strong leadership profile - able to work as individual contributor who works with virtual team
